Quartermaster Equipment

The council maintains equipment for district and council events at various locations around the council.  The council is divided into the following quartermaster zones.

It is important that all equipment checked out is returned. Please take good care of the equipment and report any broken equipment. 

The event chair or their designee should order all equipment for district and council events.

Range and Target Activities Equipment

shootingImportant: If Range and Target Activities equipment is required, the range master running the event will order the RATA equipment (such as archery and bb gun boxes).  They will likely need some equipment from the council quartermaster team (e.g., barricade fencing, targets, t-post, t-post driver, tables, and quivers (small parking cones).

Equipment may be picked up, by appointment only, the week before an event, from the Cockrell Service Center, Program Services Department, except for Day Camp equipment, which is picked up on the Saturday before the camp. 

Equipment must be returned to the Cockrell Service Center, Program Services, immediately after the event, except for Day Camp equipment, which is returned on the Saturday following the camp.

Equipment Drop-off and Pick-up

Equipment is to be picked up the week before the event and dropped off the week following the event. Drop off may need to be coordinated with another district if there is another event the week following your event.  The zone quartermaster will coordinate drop-off and pick-up.

  

Supplies located at Cockrell Scout Center

The following supplies must be picked up at the Cockrell Scout Center.

  

A leatherworking kit includes hammers, stamps, and water bottles for 12 youth.
